Swimming Lessons | Diving Lessons | Tennis Lessons| Private Lessons

Swim, Dive and Tennis lessons last for 6 weeks and start

Lessons cost $75 per class for each child.

Swimming Lessons

All children must be able to stand comfrotably in the shallow end of the pool to enroll in lessons. Maximum number of children per class in Levels 1 through 3 is 8.

Level 1

  • For children with no swimming skils

Level 2

Children can
  • Put their face in the water
  • Move forward through the water using arms and legs
  • Float on back

Level 3

Children can
  • Swim 20 feet unassisted on their fronts using arm and leg action and have basic breathing skills
  • Move on their back unassisted using arm and leg action

Swim Clinic - 10-10:30 AM Monday thru Thursday

  • For children with swimming skills including front crawl, back crawl and basic breast stroke. They will learn breathing patterns and build stamina in class.

Pre-team - 10:35-11:05 AM Mondat thru Thursday

  • For children interested in participating on the Swim Team. They will work with the coach on swim team skills in preparation for joining

Diving Lessons

Diving lessons introduce children to springboard diving.

The must be able to dive to enter these classes. Basic diving skills will be taught in swimming lessons.

Classes meet from 10-10:45 and 11-11:45 on either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday.

Children will be grouped according to ability after the first diving session.

Children on the diving team will not be able to sign up for lessons.


Tennis Lessons

Children must be 8 years old to take group tennis lessons

Children aged 7 must be screened by the Tennis Pro in order to sign up

Classes meet from 11-11:45 and 12-12:45 on either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday


Private Lessons

Any child may receive private lessons and are taught by a lifeguard.

Lessons cost $25 for a half hour if guard is not certified by the Red Cross in Water Safety Instruction

Lessons cost $30 for a half hour if guard is certified by the Red Cross in Water Safety Instruction

Choose the lifeguard you want to teach your child to swim by either personally contacting them at the pool or emailing them (their email is provided on the staff page)
